Volunteers are needed to assist on Saturdays.
Board members help to plan the society’s activities for the upcoming year.

Volunteer Drivers provide support to our Operations Team by assisting with smaller pickups and/or deliveries using their own vehicles and assisting our paid staff with additional errands and warehouse activities. As representatives of the food bank off-site, Volunteer Drivers will interact with donors and suppliers on our behalf and should be capable of heavy lifting and working in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.
Drivers interested in supporting Hamper Deliveries to food bank families will be subject to additional screening requirements (not required for all Volunteer Drivers).
In this role as a Volunteer Coordinator, you will get to help recruit, organize, and support our amazing volunteers. You’ll be the key contact for volunteers, ensuring they have a great experience while helping bring live music to the community. As a Sound Engineer Volunteer with Mosaic Music YQL, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality sound for our live music events. You will gain hands-on experience in live sound engineering, the opportunity to work closely with musicians and gain industry knowledge, get the chance to meet local musicians and music lovers, and volunteer hours and experience (if requested). Mosaic Music YQL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive music community in Lethbridge. Established in 2010 to support local musicians and provide accessible live music experiences, Mosaic Music YQL brings together artists, audiences, and volunteers to create dynamic musical events. From intimate performances to large-scale concerts, our goal is to celebrate diverse musical talent and make live music a thriving part of the city’s cultural scene.
As an IT and Website Support Volunteer with Mosaic Music YQL, you will help maintain and improve our online presence. Your contributions will ensure that our website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our events and initiatives. No formal experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a basic understanding of website management or IT-related tasks.

Nord-Bridge is looking for enthusiastic & reliable volunteers to assist with the set up of the tables and chairs for our on site weekly Bingo program held every Friday afternoon.
Two opportunities:
- Help with set up; be at Centre and ready to go for 11:30am. Assist with setting up tables & chairs for Bingo Patrons. Takes approximately 1/2 hour .
- Also need a group to put away the tables (wipe down first) and chairs after Bingo program is finished. Also takes approximately 1/2 hour to 3/4 hour. Volunteers need to be ready and able to begin for 3pm.
United Way is seeking new faces for its Board of Directors!
United Way’s purpose is to raise funds to support essential local programs at United Way Partner Agencies. They provide grants to programs that target poverty reduction, building healthy families and strong communities, and helping children and youth be all they can be.
United Way works with local companies to facilitate payroll deduction donations for employees. Many small donations over time add up to BIG change. United Way also accepts donations from generous individuals and corporations to fuel change through collective impact.
The Board of Directors is proud of United Way’s impact on people, and in communities across South Western Alberta.

United Way Board Directors are dedicated and skilled in their work. The Board assumes both a mandatory role, based on legal requirements of boards of directors, and a chosen role, based on the board model it has elected for itself.
United Way is specifically looking for individuals with finance and legal background to join the board. Other individuals are welcome to apply as vacant positions are available.
