Bingo Workers (Thursdays)

Volunteer Duties

  • Volunteers help us run weekly Bingos held at Winner’s Bingo.
  • Selling cards, handling cash, fast paced.
  • Walking or sitting roles available!

Age Requirements

18 years old or above

Other Requirements

Need to have experience with or be able to:

  • Handle fast-paced rushes
  • Wear apron for cash handling and giving change
  • Selling cards on the floor
  • Frequent standing and walking, wear comfortable shoes
  • If limited mobility, there are sitting/cash handling roles available!

    Schedule

    • Thursdays (11am-4pm) at Winner’s Bingo Hall
    • Preferred commitment of 2-3 months (or approximately 8-12 Thursdays in advance; does not need to be consecutive)

    A phone call program pairs you with a senior looking for social interaction.

    A remote volunteer opportunity with the option to meet with your senior once a month at the LSCO Community Connect Coffee Group.

    Weekdays from 8am-11am – help prepare food at our in-house kitchen.

    Onsite training provided.

    We make peeling potatoes, cutting up vegetables and decorating cookies fun!

    We need 2 people each day to support our chefs in preparing meals for our community center’s dining room and the Meals on Wheels program.

    If you have a special kitchen talent or interest in learning how to prepare food, we would love for you to share your skills with us.
