Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization (LSCO)
The Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization is designed to be the community focal point where older persons as individuals or in groups can come together for services, activities, and sociability.
Many of LSCO’s programs such as Meals on Wheels, Drive Happiness, and Community Connect assist individuals in maintaining their independence and creating a sense of belonging in the community.
These programs are also volunteer-based which ensures that the programs remain affordable and accessible to all individuals.

Casino Volunteers are required to fill roles in various positions at a casino fundraiser.
This volunteer opportunity is suitable for individuals who cannot stand for a long time.
Volunteers will handle sales or take in consignment items and offer a social opportunity for anyone who wants to come in, sit and visit at the Boutique Shop.
From 11am-1pm during weekdays – help serve our diners in the lunch line.
Onsite training provided.
Volunteers use their own vehicles to transport seniors to appointments and other places.
Mileage reimbursement options available!
LSCO has live entertainment once per month – at our Second Friday Social.
If you play an instrument, can sing or are in a band, we would love to have you take part in this opportunity!
Old songs, new songs, dances, – our centre appreciates the talent!
Thursdays 11am-4pm – walking or sitting roles!
Lunch is provided!
Mon-Fri 10am-1pm flexible – deliver daily meals to those in our community.
Mileage reimbursement options available.
We deliver 75-120 meals, 5 days a week, and extra meals on Fridays for the weekend.
A phone call program pairs you with a senior looking for social interaction.
A remote volunteer opportunity with the option to meet with your senior once a month at the LSCO Community Connect Coffee Group.
Weekdays from 8am-11am – help prepare food at our in-house kitchen.
Onsite training provided.
We make peeling potatoes, cutting up vegetables and decorating cookies fun!
We need 2 people each day to support our chefs in preparing meals for our community center’s dining room and the Meals on Wheels program.
If you have a special kitchen talent or interest in learning how to prepare food, we would love for you to share your skills with us.
Mon–Fri 8am–11am or 11am–2pm – cleaning dishware and utensils.
