Small Appliance Volunteer
Our shop sells quality, repaired/cleaned and tested donated items at reasonable prices to raise funds to contribute to local community service projects as well as the work of global partners for relief, development and peace.
This opportunity is also suitable for:
- individuals who are intermediate in English.
- wheelchair users.
Volunteer Duties
- Test donated small appliances to check if they are working.
- Clean, price and take out to the retail floor.
Age Requirements
16 years old or above
Other Requirements
- Understand how to test electrical appliances safely.
- There is a dress code (business casual). We strive to create and promote a friendly, positive and inclusive experience for all customers, donors and volunteers.
Schedule
Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Saturdays for 3–4 hours (between 9:30am and 4:30pm)
