The Lethbridge Helpers provides free online tutoring for elementary, junior high, and high school students throughout Southern Alberta. We are a youth‑run organization partnered with the YouthInspirED Foundation (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and YWCA Lethbridge.  We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people to help grow our team of volunteer tutors. If you like meeting new people, staying organized, and contributing to something meaningful, this role could be perfect for you.

Volunteer Duties

  • Make sure tutors are scheduled for their weekly sessions
  • Communicate with parents and students, providing quick and friendly support
  • Help match students with tutors based on needs and availability
  • Collect feedback from tutors, parents, and students
  • Suggest improvements to help make the program even better

Age Requirements

18 years old or above

Other Requirements

  • Someone who is organized and dependable
  • Comfortable communicating with families and volunteers
  • Able to handle small tasks independently each week
  • Open to problem‑solving and making recommendations
  • Passionate about helping students succeed

No experience in program management is required, just a willingness to learn.

Schedule

This is a volunteer position with an expected commitment of 2-3 hours per week. All work is

conducted remotely, offering flexibility to work from home.
