Hurricane Games Raffle Ticket Sellers
Volunteers receive a complimentary admission ticket to the game. Parking is not included, so you can be dropped off or park across the road.
Volunteers can watch the game when it is in play. If they are approached during play to buy a ticket, they can sell tickets but they cannot actively approach people during play.
The volunteers wear hurricanes jerseys and a United Way apron while selling tickets.
Opportunities are available at each home game from September to April.
Volunteer Duties
- Sell raffle tickets on a player signed jersey (not 50/50).
- Actively sell tickets along the concourse and up and down stairs & in the party area at the north end of the rink 1 hour before the game starts and during the first 2 intermissions.
- After the 2nd intermission is done, return tickets and money to the united way table and can leave or stay and watch the rest of the game.
- Selling works best in two’s, one to handle money and one to handle tickets.
- So if the volunteers have a friend or spouse to sell with that is great.
- It is preferred to have volunteers that want to do more than 1 game but not necessary.
