Garage Sale Volunteers
PAACT is looking for volunteers to help support our Second Chances, Second Treasures Garage Sale on Saturday, August 29th (NEW DATE) in a variety of roles from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No previous experience is required just kindness, reliability, and a willingness to help make a positive difference for pets and the people who love them.
Volunteer Duties
Please note that the following duties have different schedules. Please see the “Schedule” section as well.
- Setup and unloading at Henderson Lake.
- Event support throughout the day.
- Takedown, cleanup, and redistribution of unsold items.
Age Requirements
18 years old or above
Other Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry donations/items
- Must be reliable, respectful, and compassionate
- Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and community members
- Comfortable engaging with the public in a professional and friendly manner
- Flexible availability is appreciated, but not required
Schedule
- Setup and unloading at Henderson Lake: Saturday, August 29, 2026 (from 7am)
- Event support throughout the day: Saturday, August 29, 2026 (9am–4pm)
- Takedown, cleanup, and redistribution of unsold items: Saturday, August 29, 2026 (from 4:30pm)
- Volunteers are not required to be available for the full duration of an event. If you have limited availability, please let us know in advance so we can appropriately plan volunteer coverage and scheduling.
