Coaldale Candy Parade Volunteers
Join PAACT (Pet & Animal Advocacy Care Team) as we take part in the 2026 Coaldale Candy Parade! This year’s parade theme, “Honouring Our Past, Building Our Future,” is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community while raising awareness about responsible pet ownership and the incredible bond between pets and their people.
We are looking for enthusiastic community volunteers to walk alongside our parade truck, hand out candy and PAACT stickers, and help create a fun, welcoming experience for parade attendees of all ages.
No previous volunteer experience is required—just a positive attitude, comfortable walking shoes, and a willingness to engage with the community.

- Hand out candy and PAACT stickers to parade attendees in a safe and friendly manner.
- Greet and engage with community members while sharing basic information about PAACT and its mission.
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere.
- Follow directions provided by the PAACT event coordinator and parade organizers.
- Represent PAACT professionally and respectfully throughout the event.
- Assist with light event setup before the parade and cleanup afterward, as needed.

- Volunteers must be able to walk the parade route (approximately 3-4 km) at a comfortable pace.
- A PAACT t-shirt is required for this event. T-shirts are $25 each. To ensure your shirt arrives in time for the parade, orders must be placed by July 30, 2026.
