Christmas Trees and Decoration Take Down

We are in need of 8-12 enthusiastic volunteers to help take down and place in storage, approximately 30 Christmas trees and other Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre seasonal decorations on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, from 8:30am-4:30pm. These are from our annual Christmas Winter Wonderland event at Nord-Bridge.
Volunteer Duties
- Take Christmas tree storage bags and place over the pre-decorated trees.
- Transport these trees onto a flat bed trailer for storage across the street from the centre and the rest of the trees need to be moved and placed into our storage room on site.
- Nord-Bride Seasonal decorations need to be taken down and organized in storage bins.
- MUST be able to lift and bend for longer periods of time. There is a diner on site or lunch if a break is needed.
- Light clean-up may be required once all decorations are put away.
Age Requirements
Must be 18 years old or above
Other Requirements
- No previous experience necessary but previous experience is an asset.
Schedule
Friday, January 2, 2026 (8:30am-4:30pm)
- Times can be flexible depending on availability.

Other Opportunities with Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre
Nord-Bridge is looking for enthusiastic & reliable volunteers to assist with the set up of the tables and chairs for our on site weekly Bingo program held every Friday afternoon.
Two opportunities:
- Help with set up; be at Centre and ready to go for 11:30am. Assist with setting up tables & chairs for Bingo Patrons. Takes approximately 1/2 hour .
- Also need a group to put away the tables (wipe down first) and chairs after Bingo program is finished. Also takes approximately 1/2 hour to 3/4 hour. Volunteers need to be ready and able to begin for 3pm.
Various positions available from Ball Sellers to PayMe Controllers.
