Board of Directors Treasurer Volunteer

The Lethbridge Folk Club is looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of Club Treasurer.  The successful candidate will have plenty of support and will be mentored in the role. A business or accounting background is helpful.  We are looking for someone to join the Board as a volunteer and team player, who may enjoy music.

Volunteer Duties

  • Prepares monthly financial reports.
  • Accesses banking information and creates transactions.
  • Completes other financial reports as necessary.
  • Participates in Annual Audit Review.
  • Advises the Board on Financial Matters

Age Requirements

Must be 25 or older

Other Requirements

  • Some bookkeeping or financial experience would be helpful.
  • An organized individual wo is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

  • Starting in September of 2026.
  • 5-10 hours per month on average.
  • Monthly Board Meetings.
