Lethbridge Folk Club

The Lethbridge Folk Club exists to make the experience of live music readily available to people in Southern Alberta and to support the musicians that create the music.

We believe live music is an essential part of our cultural, spiritual and community fabric. We especially support local and regional musicians whenever possible.

Porchfest is a one day, grassroots, neighbourhood-based music festival where local musicians perform on residents’ front porches, front lawns, or driveways, turning the entire community into a walkable, free concert venue. This inaugural free event will take place in the historic London Road Neighbourhood and the Fleetwood areas of Lethbridge. There will be 6 concerts at 6 different homes over a staggered 7 1/2 -hour period.  The event will culminate in a 1-hour wind-up concert at London Road’s Kinsmen.

Volunteers will meet at Kinsmen Park (834 – 10th Street South).

Training will be provided at one training session mid August (date to be announced).
