Administrative Support Volunteers

Administrative Support volunteers are the welcoming face of the event, helping attendees feel oriented and supported throughout the day.

Volunteers are welcome to attend sessions for free during times they are not scheduled.

Board Leadership Lethbridge is a collaboration of community leaders working together to provide access to training opportunities for Board members of non-profit organizations. Our committee representatives include various non-profit organizations, Boards, community networks, service groups, and government entities.

Volunteer Duties

Morning shift tasks:

  • Staff registration: check in attendees, hand out name tags, schedules, and notebooks.
  • Direct attendees to Garden Court for lunch at 12pm.
  • Prepare and refresh the coffee/tea station.

Afternoon shift tasks:

    • Welcome attendees returning from lunch and direct them to sessions.
    • Staff the Registration & Information Table.
    • Refresh coffee/tea station.
    • Assist with event take-down and clean-up at 4:30pm.

    Other tasks for both shifts:

      • Monitor resource tables and the refreshment station.
      • Answer attendee questions and provide directions.
      • Take breaks as needed (coordinate with fellow volunteers).
      • Support other tasks as assigned to ensure event success.

          Age Requirements

          18 years old or above

          Schedule

          Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the Lethbridge Polytechnic – Instructional Building (IB)

          • Morning: 8am-12:30pm (lunch available after shift, 12:30pm-1pm)
          • Afternoon: 12:30pm-5pm (lunch available before shift, 12pm-1pm)
          • Full Day: Both shifts (includes lunch 12pm-1pm)
