Volunteer Opportunity – Join the Lethbridge Helpers Executive Team!

Are you passionate about building community, making a difference, and supporting local initiatives? The Lethbridge Helpers are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our volunteer executive team!

We are recruiting for the following positions. Please note that all these positions are volunteer positions:

  • Chief Development Officer (2 positions available)
  • Director of Outreach and Partnerships (2 positions available)
  • Volunteer Recruitment Officer
  • Social Media Co-Director

Each of these roles plays a key part in helping us grow our impact and strengthen our connections across Lethbridge. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or someone looking to gain valuable experience, we welcome all applicants who are excited to contribute their time and talents.

Volunteer Duties

  • Chief Development Officer
    • Secure and manage the financial resources necessary to support the organization’s programs and growth.
    • Oversee fundraising efforts, build and maintain relationships with donors, create and organize fundraising events, apply for grants, and track the chapter’s spending to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Director of Outreach and Partnerships
    • Responsible for expanding our outreach efforts, increasing brand awareness, and connecting with local organizations and communities.
    • Involves outreach communication, event planning, and promoting local initiatives that benefit students.
  • Volunteer Recruitment Officer
    • Build a strong team of volunteer tutors, and when needed executives, who are committed to supporting our students.
    • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in place for new volunteers to start their roles.
  • Social Media Co-Director
    • Responsible for managing and growing our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
    • Create a consistent and engaging brand voice, developing content that resonates with our audience, and interacting with followers to build a strong online community.

Age Requirements

16 years old or above

Schedule

At least 2 hours per week.
