Soccer Tournament Assistant Referee Volunteers

The BIPOC Foundation Soccer Tournament is a three-day multicultural community event that promotes diversity, inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy living through sport. The tournament will bring together youth, families, community members, local organizations, and businesses for soccer matches, networking opportunities, community engagement activities, and cultural celebrations. The event aims to foster community connection while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
Volunteer Duties
- Support match officials during tournament games.
Age Requirements
16 years or older
Other Requirements
- Referee Experience is preferred.
- We welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. Training and orientation will be provided where necessary. Volunteers will have the opportunity to support a multicultural community event that promotes diversity, inclusion, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. We encourage individuals, students, community groups, and newcomers to apply.
Schedule
- Friday, August 14, 2026 (3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
- Saturday, August 15, 2026 (Shift 1: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) (Shift 2: 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
- Sunday, August 16, 2026 (Shift 1: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) (Shift 2: 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
- Volunteers may register for one shift or multiple shifts depending on availability.
