Secretary Volunteer
We provide effective, client centered, life skill programs and services to respond to vulnerable individuals in the community; empowering them to make good life decisions and become contributing citizens.
Volunteer Duties
- The Secretary ensures the accurate documentation and preservation of all Society records
- Prepare the minutes of all meetings of the Society
- Distribute minutes of the previous meeting prior to each meeting
- Maintain minutes and official records
- Maintain the Society’s records and minute book, including the registry of board members, minutes of board and Annual General Meetings, and the Society’s bylaws and resolutions
- Authenticates records of the Society
- Maintains an accurate membership list
- Performs other duties as assigned by the board
Age Requirements
18 years old or above
Schedule
- Meet Tuesday evenings monthly
- 10–15 hours a month
- Two year commitment
