Photographer – Media/Content Creation Team
Available as an internship position.
Volunteer Duties
- Generates photographic documentation and assets to be used for the promotion and storytelling of the organization.
- Assists in the set-up and coverage of local events and feature shoots of success stories, leadership, and other BIPOC Foundation interactivity.
- With the rest of the media team, the photographer assists in curating ideas that allow for the creation and development of new and innovative content that aids in communicating the organisation’s visions across platforms.
- Reporting to the Volunteer Program Lead and HQ, the Photographer will conduct general tasks such as:
- Taking professional photographs in a studio or on location and working closely with community members and staff to produce high-quality images.
- Using different post-editing software(s) and techniques to enhance the photographs as required.
- Suggesting creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives of assigned projects.
- Using artistic knowledge to enhance and compose photographs for promotion and production.
- Reviewing sets of photographs and selecting the best resulting images for utilization.
- Keeping availability for all shoots, events and projects as agreed and scheduled for the organization and its leadership.
Requirements
- Age: 18 years old and above
Schedule
Commit to a minimum of 10-12 hours weekly over a 4–6-month period.
