Lethbridge Porchfest Event Volunteers
Porchfest is a one day, grassroots, neighbourhood-based music festival where local musicians perform on residents’ front porches, front lawns, or driveways, turning the entire community into a walkable, free concert venue. This inaugural free event will take place in the historic London Road Neighbourhood and the Fleetwood areas of Lethbridge. There will be 6 concerts at 6 different homes over a staggered 7 1/2 -hour period. The event will culminate in a 1-hour wind-up concert at London Road’s Kinsmen.
Volunteers will meet at Kinsmen Park (834 – 10th Street South).
Training will be provided at one training session mid August (date to be announced).
Volunteer Duties
There are multiple roles:
- Runner Volunteers – Bring supplies to and from individual Porch Stage Sites based in Kinsmen Park.
- Site Crew Volunteers – Help with setting up and striking individual Porch Stage Sites and remain at the site for the duration of the hour-long concert.
- Kinsmen Park Crew Volunteers – Help set up and take down at Kinsmen Park, site standards and may also be manning the Folk Club booth.

18 years old or above
