Farmer’s Market Community Booth

The Gallery will have a booth at the Downtown Lethbridge Farmers’ Market in Festival Square. Here, staff will share information about upcoming programs and exhibitions alongside ways to get involved. Additionally, members of the public will be able to engage in a button-making activity at the booth.

Volunteer Duties

  • One staff member and one volunteer will be at the community booth.
  • The volunteer will be responsible for facilitating the button-making activity.
  • This will include: Assisting with the transportation of supplies from the SAAG to Festival Square, setting up the activity table with the button press, drawing, and collage supplies, introducing members of the public to the activity and teaching them how to create a button design, operating the button press, and covering the booth during any staff washroom breaks.


No experience necessary, but volunteers should be comfortable engaging with the public.


The booth will be open from 10am-2pm in Festival Square on Wednesday July 3rd, 2024.

We ask that volunteers arrive at 9:30am at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (601 3rd Ave S).
