Events & Fundraising Coordinator
The Events & Fundraising Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting PAACT’s mission by planning, organizing, and executing community events and fundraising initiatives. This person helps turn compassion into action—bringing people together to support vulnerable pets and the families who love them.
Reports To: Executive Team
Volunteer Duties
- Plan and organize events such as garage sales, community markets, Pawtraits in the Park, Frosty Paws build days, and educational workshops
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, including seasonal drives, sponsorship appeals, and donor outreach
- Collaborate with team members to identify event needs, delegate tasks, and create timelines
- Secure donations and sponsorships from local businesses, community members, and organizations
- Develop promotional materials (e.g., event blurbs, posters, social media content) in collaboration with the outreach team
- Track and acknowledge donors and sponsors, maintaining relationships for future engagement
- Oversee event logistics, including supplies, set-up/tear-down, and volunteer coordination
- Support budget planning and cost tracking for events and fundraising initiatives
- Attend PAACT events when possible to assist with coordination and community engagement
- Evaluate and provide feedback after each event to improve future planning
Age Requirements
18 years old or above

Desired Qualities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Clear, professional communication (both written and verbal)
- Comfortable working independently and in a team setting
- Creativity and enthusiasm for community-building
- Experience in event planning, marketing, or fundraising is an asset but not required
Schedule
Time Commitment: Flexible; varies by season and event schedule. Average of 4–8 hours/week, with increased activity around major events.
