Coulees & Culture Day Camp Support
The Gallery is looking for volunteer support for our Coulees & Culture Day Camps.
These camps are presented in partnership with Helen Schuler Nature Centre, Galt Museum & Archives, New West Theatre, and Fort Whoop Up. Campers move between institutions each day to get new exciting experiences from Lethbridge’s cultural sector. The Gallery hosts up to 15 campers ages 6-10 for a day of programming, including art projects, games, and outdoor activities.
We are looking for volunteers to help support our program leaders and assistants during these camps, specifically with outdoor lunch supervision and clean up support.
Volunteer Duties
- Assist Gallery staff with art project clean up leading into the lunch period.
- Supervise children during their lunch periods, including eating inside or outside (weather permitting) and playground time in Galt Gardens.
Age Requirements
18 years old or above
Requirements
- Coulees and Culture is a children’s program. Volunteers must be comfortable working with this demographic.
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- First aid training is an asset but not required.
Schedule
We are looking for 1-2 volunteers per day to assist with the programs on the following days:
- July 8, 2025 (12pm-2pm)
- July 22, 2025 (12pm-2pm)
- August 12, 2025 (12pm-2pm)
- August 26, 2025 (12pm-2pm)
