Do you enjoy speaking on the phone and have great communication skills? Are you compassionate, friendly and comfortable connecting with people?  Looking to build your administrative experience? This is a great opportunity to strengthen your communication, organization, documentation and computer skills while making a difference.  CNIB is looking for Call Volunteers to support Mobile Hubs and other CNIB programs and events across Alberta and the Northwest Territories.  Training and support is provided.

Volunteer Duties

  • Make approximately 40–80 calls per month, depending on upcoming events and your schedule.
  • Contact participants about upcoming Mobile Hubs, programs and events.
  • Share event details and answer basic questions.
  • Record call outcomes and update information.
  • Follow up with participants when needed.

Age Requirements

Must be 18 years old or above

Other Requirements

  • Friendly, compassionate and comfortable speaking with others.
  • Confident using the phone and making outgoing calls.
  • Organized, reliable and detail-oriented.
  • Interested in building administrative and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using a computer, email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Able to work independently from home.
  • Respectful of confidential information.
  • Personal phone, computer and internet are required.
