Primo Music Association is the parent not-for-profit organization that puts on Centric MusicFest each July.
We are calling for any members of the community who might be interested in serving on our board to reach out to us. You do not need a background in music! We do want you to be enthusiastic about helping us feature wonderful concerts in Southern Alberta in the summer. We are eager to engage with volunteers with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. We make every effort to spread the work among board members, and the busiest time is May-early July. We are looking primarily for Board members who can join us mid July after the busiest festival time, although you’re welcome any time.
Volunteer Duties
- Participate in board meetings every 2 months or so or as needed, assist with governance and assist with the organization’s events as required (eg. ticket sales, ushering, postering, contacts with sponsors)
- Bonus! you get to attend wonderful music events at no charge 🙂
Age Requirements
Must be 18 years old and above
Schedule
2 hours per month, with higher time commitments around the festival dates (typically early July, but we would not require you to make a strong commitment for the 2026 Festival Season).
Board meetings are held in a hybrid model with virtual and in person meetings, typically after regular work hours or on a weekend.
