The vitality of the French-speaking community in the Lethbridge region contributes to the overall development of its members with mutual respect for other communities. The Lethbridge regional ACFA is committed to promoting the development of French-speaking life and culture within the French-speaking community of the Lethbridge region.
Volunteer Duties
- We are looking for individuals who are committed, collaborative, and interested in supporting our organization’s mission.
- Experience in governance, finance, administration, or community engagement would be an asset.
- Currently seeking Advisors, a Secretary, and a Treasurer to join the board.
Age Requirements
18 years old or above
Schedule
- Board members serve a two-year term
- The board meets once per month

The Saint-Jean Carnival is a festive event that celebrates Francophone culture within the community. Everyone is welcome, whether you speak French or English! On site, there will be a small young entrepreneurs’ market, craft tables, board games, a bouncy castle, face painting, live music, food trucks, a barbecue, and lots of interactive games for all ages. Admission is free, and most activities are as well.
This opportunity is also suitable for:
- individuals who are beginner in English.
- individuals who are intermediate in English.
- individuals with a service animal.
- wheelchair users.
