Our home’s volunteer services program is currently recruiting engaged, committed and community-minded people just like you.
Volunteer Duties
- Assist with scheduled recreation programs, events, and one-to-one visits.
- Assist with setting up (food prep, table set up)
- Assisting residents to and from the program.
- Serve and clean up food.
Requirements
- Age: 18 years old and above
- Physically able to lift items <5 kg
- Able to push wheelchairs indoors
- Able to understand and follow simple instructions
Schedule
- Mother’s Day – Wednesday before Mother’s Day afternoon
- Pies and Pistons – Thursday before Father’s Day-mornings
- Whoop Up Day – Tuesday of Whoop up Days, over lunch hour
- Pancake lunch – Wednesday in August
- Corn Feed – 2nd Wednesday in December early evening
- New Year’s eve Party – Friday before New Year’s Eve-afternoon
