2026 Renaissance Faire event (“Ren Faire”) is an outdoor event taking place on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. that recreates the atmosphere of a medieval or Renaissance-era village including costumed entertainers, artisan markets, live entertainment, activities and experiences such as Archery, Tarot, Magical Market, Combat, Candle Making, Facepainting, and Crafts. This event is held at Fort Whoop-Up.
Volunteer Duties
- Gate Team volunteers will welcome and greet visitors and event participants as they arrive and help them to find their way on-site, and make the most of their visit and experience.
- Pickle and a Poem Activity volunteers will assists staff with set-up of specific event materials for the classic Ren Faire activity, and clean-up after the program ends.
- Environmental team volunteers will clean-up garbage and recycling onsite during event and ensuring cleanliness of washroom facilities onsite as well as replenish water bottle refill station.
- Relief Team volunteers will assist as instructed by staff to help facilitate any urgent event activities.
- Take down of equipment after the event.
- Must attend pre-event one-hour orientation at Fort Whoop-Up, time and date is to be announced.

- Saturday, September 5th, 2026 (volunteer shifts are between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.).
