Chess for Life is hosting a 24-hour Chess-a-thon fundraiser on Saturday, November 7th to the 8th, 2026 to support our ongoing programming in the community. Participants will challenge themselves to raise a minimum of $500 and then take on the ultimate chess endurance challenge: playing chess continuously from November 7th at noon, until noon on November 8th, 2026.

- Food & refreshments: Serving, and replenishing food, snacks, coffee, water, and other refreshments.
- Games & activities: Leading or assisting with fun activities, challenges, and breaks to keep participants engaged throughout the 24 hours.
- Participant support: Helping participants find the venue, get checked in, and ensuring they have a positive and welcoming experience.
- Energy & encouragement: Keeping spirits high during overnight hours through encouragement, conversation, games, and activities.
- Cleanliness & organization: Keeping the event space, food areas, and equipment clean and organized-Photography/social media: Helping capture photos and highlights from the event, where appropriate.
