The Lethbridge Helpers, a free, virtual tutoring program, is looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteer tutors to help K-12 students in need of academic support.

A volunteer experience that is remote and flexible – you choose your availability and the subject(s) you are most comfortable with, and we’ll match you with students accordingly. Whether it’s Math, English, Science, or another subject, your time and knowledge can truly make an impact.

Volunteer Drivers provide support to our Operations Team by assisting with smaller pickups and/or deliveries using their own vehicles and assisting our paid staff with additional errands and warehouse activities. As representatives of the food bank off-site, Volunteer Drivers will interact with donors and suppliers on our behalf and should be capable of heavy lifting and working in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.

Drivers interested in supporting Hamper Deliveries to food bank families will be subject to additional screening requirements (not required for all Volunteer Drivers).

As a Sound Engineer Volunteer with Mosaic Music YQL, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality sound for our live music events. You will gain hands-on experience in live sound engineering, the opportunity to work closely with musicians and gain industry knowledge, get the chance to meet local musicians and music lovers, and volunteer hours and experience (if requested). Mosaic Music YQL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive music community in Lethbridge. Established in 2010 to support local musicians and provide accessible live music experiences, Mosaic Music YQL brings together artists, audiences, and volunteers to create dynamic musical events. From intimate performances to large-scale concerts, our goal is to celebrate diverse musical talent and make live music a thriving part of the city’s cultural scene.

As an IT and Website Support Volunteer with Mosaic Music YQL, you will help maintain and improve our online presence. Your contributions will ensure that our website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our events and initiatives. No formal experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a basic understanding of website management or IT-related tasks.

CADS Lethbridge provides opportunities for people with disabilities to experience the joy of learning, participating, and competing in alpine Snowsports.

Participants receive one on one, needs-based instruction from trained volunteers.

To facilitate a great experience for all the participants and volunteers, CADS invests in instructor training and the research and development of adaptive equipment and teaching methodology.

We offer lessons for students from January to March, and additional training sessions for our volunteers from November to March. Our lesson nights are on Saturday, with the exception that there is not a lesson on the Family Day long weekend in February.

Lessons are designed to run at Castle Mountain Resort.

  • A volunteer membership fee of $48 is required to cover the cost of your Registration and Insurance with the National Organization.
  • All lift tickets for CADS events (i.e., Lesson, Training) will be covered by CADS.
  • If you require rentals, you will be responsible for covering this cost.
