The Gallery is looking for volunteer support for our Coulees & Culture Day Camps.

These camps are presented in partnership with Helen Schuler Nature Centre, Galt Museum & Archives, New West Theatre, and Fort Whoop Up. Campers move between institutions each day to get new exciting experiences from Lethbridge’s cultural sector. The Gallery hosts up to 15 campers ages 6-10 for a day of programming, including art projects, games, and outdoor activities.

We are looking for volunteers to help support our program leaders and assistants during these camps, specifically with outdoor lunch supervision and clean up support.

Youth Art Club is a free, drop-in program where middle and high school-aged youth can explore their artistic side. Attendees can bring their own art to work on or participate in a project led by the Gallery’s Outreach Coordinator. Supplies and snacks are provided.

Youth Art Club is held at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (601 3rd Ave S) in Lethbridge, AB. Volunteers are welcome to attend one or multiple sessions.

Volunteer Drivers provide support to our Operations Team by assisting with smaller pickups and/or deliveries using their own vehicles and assisting our paid staff with additional errands and warehouse activities. As representatives of the food bank off-site, Volunteer Drivers will interact with donors and suppliers on our behalf and should be capable of heavy lifting and working in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.

Drivers interested in supporting Hamper Deliveries to food bank families will be subject to additional screening requirements (not required for all Volunteer Drivers).

You will gain hands-on experience in live sound engineering, the opportunity to work closely with musicians and gain industry knowledge, get the chance to meet local musicians and music lovers, and volunteer hours and experience (if requested). Mosaic Music YQL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive music community in Lethbridge. Established in 2010 to support local musicians and provide accessible live music experiences, Mosaic Music YQL brings together artists, audiences, and volunteers to create dynamic musical events. From intimate performances to large-scale concerts, our goal is to celebrate diverse musical talent and make live music a thriving part of the city’s cultural scene.

As an IT and Website Support Volunteer with Mosaic Music YQL, you will help maintain and improve our online presence. Your contributions will ensure that our website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our events and initiatives. United Way is seeking new faces for its Board of Directors!

United Way’s purpose is to raise funds to support essential local programs at United Way Partner Agencies. They provide grants to programs that target poverty reduction, building healthy families and strong communities, and helping children and youth be all they can be.

United Way works with local companies to facilitate payroll deduction donations for employees. Many small donations over time add up to BIG change. United Way also accepts donations from generous individuals and corporations to fuel change through collective impact.

The Board of Directors is proud of United Way’s impact on people, and in communities across South Western Alberta.

Primo Music Association is the parent not-for-profit organization associated with Centric MusicFest. Centric MusicFest is an art and classical music festival that has taken place in Lethbridge each July for the past 10 years.

We are calling for any members of the community who might be interested in serving on our board to reach out to us. We are particularly seeking a volunteer with accounting or finance experience. You do not need a background in music! We do want you to be enthusiastic about helping us feature wonderful concerts in Southern Alberta in the summer. We are eager to engage with volunteers with a diversity of backgrounds and experiences.
